Vtu results by SMS

Visvesvaraya Technological University announced a new feature "VTU RESULTS BY SMS" to make the life of students simpler. This tech initiative of VTU will help avoid the last minute tension for all students whether sitting inside the classroom or elsewhere refreshing the VTU RESULTS page every few minutes just to know if results were announced.

This much awaited SMS service will enable all the students to receive both regular results as well as revaluation results. In addition to this students may also register their EMAIL ID to receive a copy of the results and mark list right into their email inbox.

To Register for receiving VTU Regular results by SMS

Send following as SMS

RESULT<SPACE>USN<SPACE>YOUREMAILID to 5424204

Example:RESULT 4PA03CS007 example@gmail.com to 5424204


To Register for receiving VTU Revaluation results by SMS

Send following as SMS

REVAL<SPACE>USN<SPACE>YOUREMAILID to 5424204

Example:REVAL 4SH03CS007 example@gmail.com to 5424204 

Note:
 

• All students will receive the results within a short period after the results are announced.
• Students who do not specify the email id will receive the results only by SMS
• We recommend all the students to specify the email id as well, since it provides an added advantage allowing you to take a print out of the provisional marks.

The automated system enables a student to check marks via SMS. Here you have to Type the
USN and then send the SMS to a dedicated number as shown above. The results of the latest exam will be sent as an SMS to the student who have registered for receiving results by sms. Revaluation results can also be checked

1. The marks of the external examinations will be sent over SMS and Email to all the
students in the following format once they query for the results over SMS.
