LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship is aimed at students from weaker sections of the society, the section with an annual family income of less than ₹10,000. This scholarship gives ₹20,000 per year to eligible students and helps them get into a medical college or engineering college, or industrial training institutes or centres.

Eligibility

1.The annual family income should be less than ₹10,000.

2.And the candidate should have at least 60% marks in his final examination of 10th and 12th.

 

What do You get?

1.Every selected candidate will get ₹20,000 into his or her bank account through NEFT. And LIC will transfer this amount to the account in three instalments: one instalment every four months.

2.Another benefit is for girls only. In this, girls doing their 10th and 12th studies will get ₹10,000 per year. All selected special girl students will get this amount in three instalments through NEFT.

SSP Scholarship for Engineering Students

SSP Scholarship is an initiative taken by the Government of Karnataka to provide financial aid to engineering students. It offers pre-matric and post-matric scholarships to SC/ ST, Backward Classes and Minority students. The main objective is to uplift these communities by providing affordable education. Social Welfare Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department, Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board and Department of Technical Education offer various Scholarship schemes.

1.Karnataka students studying engineering in Karnataka or other states.

2.The candidate must score at least 50% in their previous examinations.

3.Also, the annual family income must not exceed 2.5 lacs.

NTPC, National Thermal Power Corporation, a leading public sector enterprise, extend 35 scholarships every year for SC, ST, and Physically Challenged students. The scholarship extends a monthly allowance for selected students to make their engineering journey smoother. Of these 35 scholarships, five go to physically challenged students, ten to ST students, and the remaining twenty to SC students.

Eligibility

1.The candidate should be from SC/ST/OBC/PH or minority category.

2.The candidate should have passed his/her first-year exams in a single attempt.
